About District 4
District 4 is more than a geographic area—it’s a diverse, resilient, and vibrant part of DeKalb County that deserves a government as hardworking and visionary as its people.
Covering the east-central section of the county, District 4 includes the cities of Stone Mountain, Clarkston, Pine Lake, and Avondale Estates, along with parts of Tucker. Approximately 73% of District 4’s population lives in unincorporated DeKalb, while the remaining 27% reside in incorporated municipalities. This area is home to iconic landmarks such as Stone Mountain Park—a cornerstone of tourism and outdoor recreation—as well as vital community institutions like Georgia Piedmont Technical College, the Wade Walker Family YMCA, and the beloved local hub, Your DeKalb Farmers Market.
District 4’s challenges are real—but so are its opportunities. That’s why this administration is focused on transforming policy into progress by investing in people, places, and potential. With decades of experience in public service, civic leadership, and infrastructure, this office understands what it takes to build communities that are safe, sustainable, and inclusive.
Whether it’s revitalizing Memorial Drive, strengthening youth development, addressing homelessness with dignity, or supporting our immigrant and refugee neighbors, District 4 is committed to delivering results that reflect the values of its residents: equity, accountability, opportunity, and community pride.
This is a district defined by possibility—and together, we’re shaping a future that works for everyone.
