Commissioner Chakira Johnson’s annual Chakira’s Cookout: Full STEAM Ahead is more than a summer event—it’s an investment in the next generation of innovators and creators. This year’s cookout will bring together families, students, and community partners to celebrate learning, creativity, and opportunity as we prepare for the upcoming school year.

We invite sponsors, community partners, and vendors to join us in making this event a success. Sponsor support will help fund STEAM giveaways, food, entertainment, and more, while vendors providing interactive, hands-on STEAM experiences will help spark curiosity and creativity among students.
